How do you join?

Complete the Theatre Royal Youth Arts Mailing List form and you will receive a letter when a place becomes available.  As this a popular workshop this may take some time.

No auditions or previous experience is needed, just creative energy, commitment and an interest in performing arts.

What will you be doing?

You will be focussing on the tools needed to be an actor:

• Voice Work

• Physicality

• Character Building

• Deconstructing and understanding text

• Sight Reading

You will also develop and explore scenes using the following dramatic tools

• Improvisation

• Devising

• Ensemble (working as a group)

• Movement 

When do you do shows?

You will get a chance to share your work for friends and family.  You will be told at the beginning of the term this will be happening.  We also run extra performance projects that you can audition for.
